Zuzana Zahr­ad­niko­va

Zuzana Zahradnikova was born in Olomouc, Moravia and received her dance education at the Prague Conservatory in the Czech Republic. She then went on to join the Bavarian State Ballet in 1999 where she quickly climbed the ranks from Corps de Ballet to First Soloist. After 17 years with the Bavarian State Ballet, Zuzana began freelancing in working with artists Fabien Prioville, Tim-Otto Roth, Richard Siegal and continuing to guest with the Bavarain State Ballet in Münich.

As a dancer she worked with many choreographers including: Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Nacho Duato, John Neumeier, Sir Peter Wright, Ray Barra, Hans van Manen, Lucinda Childs, Mats Ek, Martin Schläpfer, Terrence Kohler, Jörg Mannes, Davide Bombana, Léonide Massine, Richard Siegal, Azure Barton, Alexei Ratmansky, Fabien Prioville and more…Zuzana performed as well in numerous ballets by famous choreographers: Marius Petipa, John Cranko, Patrice Bart, George Balanchine, Mary Wigman, Michel Fokine, Pina Bausch, Hans van Manen and many more…

In 2020/21 she became Ballet Master with the company ‘Ballet of Difference’ at Schauspiel Köln. Since 2021 she works international as a guest teacher. She is certified in Gyrokinesis® and Gyrotonic®
