World premiere of the commissioned work

We are entering a golden future! My personal assistance robot takes care of my tasks, the household, cooking, shopping, taking the dog out, playing with my child, keeping my in-laws at bay – all automatic and to my utmost satisfaction. We don’t understand how this work, but the robot is almost prophetic as it performs its work. If only there weren't this inexplicable unease –these ghosts of the past, whose voices were used to train the machines, and which now insinuate themselves between us and our social relationships…

Director and author Wilke Weermann combines the finest black humour with grotesque stories and hypnotically beautiful imagery. Director, author and XRT lead Nils Corte explores the use of artificial intelligence as a narrative and performative actor. Together, they have created what some believe to be one of the cleverest works on a German stage about the digital transformation and its societal ramifications. Now the successful duo is appearing together in Nuremberg for the first time.
