A per­fect wed­ding

Have you ever sat in a chocolate-smeared, wet dress together with a friend, drinking tequila on the floor of a hotel bathroom? No? Maybe you’ve never been married! What was supposed to be the “most beautiful day” of Zoey’s life ends in an absolute wedding fiasco: bad music, not enough food, embarrassing speeches, a botched seating arrangement. And we haven’t even mentioned the pornos projected on the screen. This all leaves her college friends Rachel, Charlie and Sammy with nothing but a deep stare into their glasses, and thereby into their own inner abysses and the (marital) conflicts breaking to the surface.

Save the date! The only words one can say to the next comedy by “The Legend of Georgia McBride” author Matthew López are, “I do!” Anyone who has binge watched US sitcom Friends and is looking for a comedy that, for all its humour, asks questions about relationships and friendship, should absolutely join this wedding party.
