The Origin of Love

Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Haddaway (and everyone else!) wants to know what love is, Liv Strömquist actually knows the answer, and we're going to sing it for you. Embark on a queer journey through pop history, from polyamorous Nordic goddess Frigg and Prince Charles and his feelings (as the Swedish comic was originally titled) to Charlie Sheen, Charlie Chaplin and Nancy Reagan. We examine the creation of role models and pathological relationship patterns and, we will bust one myth after another and bring pop history crashing down — with love, lust and laughter.
