ANIMAL IN­SPI­RA­TI­ON

Join us as we dive into the sea with Vox Balaenae – Voice of the Whale by George Crumb for flute, cello and piano! Journey into the savanna and desert with the string sextet “Leopards” by Fazil Say and learn about the habitats and lives of endangered species. The Video Department of the Staatstheater displays breathtaking clips alongside the music. Dag Encke, Director of the Nuremberg Zoo, brings the animal world to live for visitors of all ages. The concert also includes the classic "The Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns. Come along on a musical morning safari to learn more about the animal kingdom!
