A long time ago, there lived in China an emperor who so enjoyed the song of the nightingale that he never wanted to release it into the wild – until he was gifted a nightingale machine. Learn whether the machine could sing as beautifully as the real thing in the 2nd Children’s Concert, with music by Meinrad Schmitt set to Andersen’s fairy tale.
