To mark the turn of the year, the Staatsphilharmonie sets off on a musical journey of discovery through the four seasons. In Alexander Glasunov’s ballet score “Les saisons” and Giuseppe Verdis “Les quatre saisons” from his opera “Les vêpres siciliennes” we have not just fauns and satyrs but also birds, snow, hail and cornflowers dancing on the Opernhaus stage to waltzes, polkas and tarantellas.
