Seu Kim

Seu Kim, born in Japan, began ballet training at the age of six. After receiving a scholarship from the Youth America Grand Prix, he completed his education at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. He was a finalist at the Prix de Lausanne and won the silver medal at the ballet competition in Varna. His career has included engagements with the Royal Swedish Ballet, the National Ballet of Ireland, and BallettCompagnie Oldenburg, where he danced works by Merce Cunningham, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Alice Topp, Antoine Jully, among others. In 2025, he presented his own choreography “meinlben.de” at the International Dance Days in Oldenburg. He joins Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference for the 2025/26 season.
