Brasilian Renata Peraso completed her classical and contemporary dance education in her hometown São Paulo at Arts Foundation São Caetano do Sul and the Ismael Guiser Ballet School. Subsequently, she received permanent engagements at Ballet Clásico y Moderno Municipal de Asunción (2006-2008) in Paraguay, Ballet de la Provincia de Salta (2008-2011) in Argentina, and at Ballet Nacional del Sodre in Uruguay (2012-2014). In the years 2014 to 2020 she danced with São Paulo Companhia de Dança in choreographies by Nacho Duato (“Gnawa”), Márcia Haydée (“The Dream of Don Quixote”), Giovanni di Palma (“Romeu et Julieta”), Marco Goecke (“Supernova”) and Goyo Montero (“Anthem”), amongst others. In numerous workshops, she intensified her training in various styles, including the movement technique "Gaga" coined by Ohad Naharin. She made first guest appearances during her studies at the RV Promoções Festvial in São Paulo, and with the Ballet de la Universidad del Norte (Paraguay) performing in "The Nutcracker". As a soloist, she has danced in repertoire pieces by William Forsythe (“In The Middle, Somewhat Elevated”, “WWW”), Jiří Kylián (“Petite Mort”, “Indigo Rose”), and Uwe Scholz (“Suite für Zwei Klaviere Nr. 2”). From 2021 on she is a member of Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett.
