Pier-Loup Lacour

Pier-Loup Lacour, born in Montréal, trained at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. His career includes engagements with prestigious companies such as Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, and Richard Siegal’s Ballet of Difference. His repertoire ranges from George Balanchine to Marco Goecke and includes works by Mats Ek, Richard Siegal, Christian Spuck, Ioannis Mandafounis, Andonis Foniadakis, and Christopher Wheeldon. He has performed leading roles internationally, including in Andorra and Malta with Cirque du Soleil and in productions by Foniadakis in Hannover, Washington D.C., and Athens. He has lived and worked in Germany since 2020 and will join the permanent ensemble of Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference in the 2025/26 season.
