Mar­ga­ri­da Neto

Margarida Neto, originally from Portugal, trained at the Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional in Lisbon and the Tanz Akademie Zürich. She was a member of the Bavarian State Ballet’s junior company and was nominated as Dancer of the Year by TANZ critic Katja Schneider in the 2017/18 season. As a founding member of Richard Siegal’s Ballet of Difference, she has shaped many of his productions. Guest performances have taken her to the Think Big Festival in Hannover and the Origen Festival in Switzerland. She has also been involved in interdisciplinary projects for museums, opera houses, and theatres and recently began teaching modern ballet at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. From the 2025/26 season, she will be part of the Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference.
