Luiza Yuk

Luiza Yuk, born in Pelotas, Brazil, trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School in Brazil and later at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Her career has taken her from Coastal City Ballet in Canada and Ballet Dortmund to São Paulo Companhia de Dança, where she danced as a soloist for over ten years. She has performed in countries including Germany, France, the UK, Canada, and the USA. Her repertoire spans classical works such as “Giselle”, “Swan Lake”, and “La Sylphide”, as well as contemporary pieces by Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Édouard Lock, Marcia Haydée, Cathy Marston Montero, Marcos Morau Nunes, Yeris Céspedes, Uwe Scholz, among others. She becomes a permanent ensemble member at Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference in the 2025/26 season.
