Karin Honda

Karin Honda, born in Japan, earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in dance at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim. Following an internship at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, she danced with the Mecklenburg State Theatre Schwerin, the Landestheater Coburg, and the Landestheater Eisenach. Her repertoire includes works by John Cranko, Youri Vámos, Bryan Arias, José Carlos Martínez, and Andris Plucis. In 2022, she joined Richard Siegal’s Ballet of Difference and will continue her artistic journey at the Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference from the 2025/26 season onward.
