Gi­a­co­mo Al­to­vi­no

Giacomo Altovino, born in Catania (Sicily), began his training at ASDC Dietro le quinte and completed it with a scholarship at the School of the Hamburg Ballet – John Neumeier. His engagements have taken him to the NRW Junior Ballet Dortmund, Ballet Dortmund, and Ballet Theater Basel. He has worked with choreographers such as Sharon Eyal, William Forsythe, Johan Inger, Mauro Bigonzetti, Benjamin Millepied, Bobbi Jene Smith, Richard Siegal, among others. In 2017, he appeared at the Benois de la Danse – Défilé of the Stars and New Laureates. Starting in the 2025/26 season, he joins the ensemble of Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet of Difference.
