Evan Supple was born in Toronto, Canada, and trained at Elite Danceworx, Canada’s National Ballet School, and Marymount Manhattan College in New York, where he performed works by, among others, Dwight Rhoden, Paul Taylor, and Aszure Barton. During his studies, he appeared as the opening soloist at the Pan American Games closing ceremony, danced with Complexions Contemporary Ballet at the Park Avenue Armory, and toured China with the Nikolais-Louis Dance Theater. He went on to dance for three seasons with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, performing works by Jiří Kylián, Alexander Ekman, Nicolo Fonte, and others, and appeared in the Netflix series “Tiny Pretty Things”. Evan joined Richard Siegal/Ballet of Difference in 2020, performing in productions such as “New Ocean”, “My Generation”, and “Xerrox Vol. II”. He holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and has served as associate artistic director and dramaturg of Ballet of Difference since 2023.
