Beatriz Hack Canabal, born in Brazil, studied classical and modern dance at the Ballet School of the São Paulo Theatre from 2001 to 2006 and was subsequently a soloist in the company of the Asunción Theatre (Paraguay). For about 10 years, she was a member of the São Paulo Dance Company and worked on pieces by George Balanchine, Willyam Forsythe, Nacho Duato, Henrique Rodovalho, Rodrigo Pederneiras, Giovanni di Palma, Clébio Oliveira among others. In addition to her dance career, she also assisted in productions of the São Paulo company, preparing her career as a dance teacher and choreographer. She created her first own works for São Paulo Dance Company, where she also assisted as a rehearsal director in various productions by important choreographers such as Goyo Montero, Shahar Binyamini, Stephen Shropshire, Marcia Haydée, Lars Van Cauwenbergh and Mario Galizzi from 2020 to 2024. She is currently completing her degree in Journalism. Beatriz Hack is a rehearsal director at Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett from the 2024/25 season.
