The Dramaturgische Gesellschaft e.V. brings theatre makers from across the German-speaking world together, working as an open platform for discussion of both artistic work and theatre production as well as the social role that the theatre itself plays.
At the core of the Gesellschaft’s work is the annual conference, which is held at alternating cultural institutions within the German-speaking world and sets the tone for the entire theatre landscape. This year, we will be hosting the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft in Nuremberg with the slogan, “remember, resist, represent.”
In panels, roundtables, workshops and other informational formats, participants will address this year’s topic from various perspectives.
Participation is free for members of the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft. Costs for non-members: 105 euros / 50 euros (discounted).
